Office Opening Update

May 10, 2020

We are excited to announce that we will be back in the office starting on May 11 doing what we do best: Caring for your and your family’s oral health!  We have been stocking up on PPE and developing new systems to help keep you and our team safe.

We will be opening back up slowly, to be sure we are protecting you and us.  If we have not gotten a hold of you and you want to get in sooner or have been waiting for us to reopen, please feel free to call the office at (765) 448-4242.

The Guido Family Dentistry you have come to love will operate differently than you remember.  We will be going above and beyond recommendations from the CDC and American Dental Association to assure that we minimize the opportunity for any virus (COVID-19) exposure.  A few key new procedures are below:

- When we call to confirm your appointment, we will ask you to confirm if you have been sick or have had a fever currently or in the last two weeks

- Once you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you stay in your car and call our office number at 765-448-4242 or text us at 765-337-6205 to let us know you have arrived. Once we are ready for your appointment, we will call/text you to let you know you can come in or one of our team members will meet you at your car to escort you inside. This will minimize the number of people gathering in the waiting room and lobby.

- You will have your temperature taken by a non-contact thermometer and your blood oxygen measured with a finger monitor upon arrival. At this time any patients with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be seen. Should a patient have a blood oxygen level below 90% we will be recommending that you seek further medical attention.  These recommendations come from the CDC.  Some additional questions may be asked at this time.

- Even though we already have a medical grade filtration on our HVAC system, we have put additional filtration units in the rooms.  These will filter the whole room’s air more than 8 times an hour!  These units also have a light system that will further minimize anything getting past the filter.

As we begin this journey together, I am sure things will continue to change.  We will continue to keep you up-to-date.  Please watch for more updates here and on our Facebook page for further information. We hope you have been well and safe, and we are excited to see you soon!
