My name is Roseanna Halsema. I have been told I am the office glue. I was born here in Lafayette and graduated from Southwestern High School and Purdue University. I have been with the practice since 1981. During that time I have worn many hats. When Dr. Guido started I was the assistant and the front office person. After a year or so a dental assistant was hired. I can still help out in the back when we are short handed. In my spare time I enjoy quilting and reading. I am a current member and past president of The Old Tippecanoe Quilt Guild. I love attending quilt shows. I admit it, I am ADDICTED TO FABRIC!
My name is Monica Jo (Archer) Winger. I was raised in rural Carroll County and have lived in Lafayette since 1995. I have two beautiful daughters, Madison who was born in 1997 and Riley who was born in 2001. I love spending time with them and our new puppy, Fred. I am engaged to be married to William (Bill) Stull who was born and raised in Riverside California, but moved here a few years ago with his father due to their careers as semi truck drivers. I went to Delphi Schools from elementary to 10th grade. I then completed and graduated from Rossville Senior High in 1993. I received my Dental Assisting Certificate form Ivy Tech State College in August of 1994 and my Expanded Functions Certificate in April of 1997. I entered dentistry because for some odd reason it really interested me. I love what I do !!! I get to be artistic and there are constant changes, which Dr. Guido prides himself on keeping up with. So there is little time to get bored. I am constantly continuing my education in dentistry. I have been with Dr. Guido since 1996 and with God's blessing I will be here for many more years to come.
Hello! My name is Shirley Richardson and I am a licensed dental hygienist for Dr. Guido. My husband and I have been married for over 25 years, and we have three grown children. I discovered my love for dentistry approximately 14 years ago. When my youngest started kindergarten, I had an opportunity to work as a dental assistant for a dentist in Lebanon (my hometown). During the 10 years I was employed as an assistant, I decided to further my education by going to IU School of Dentistry in Indianapolis to obtain my degree in dental hygiene. I graduated from IUSD in 2000 the same year my middle child graduated from high school. I came on board here at Dr. Guido's immediately after passing the state board examination. I have had a lot of fun getting to know the patients. I feel the greatest aspect of my job is providing comfortable, quality hygiene care, but also teaching patients the skills they will need to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
My name is Sandra LeClaire. I was raised in Lafayette, and graduated from McCutcheon High School and later graduated from Ivy Tech Dental Assisting Program. I have 15 years of dental background experiences, which include 6 years of Orthodontics, 2 years of Oral Surgery, and 7 years of General Chairside Assisting. I truly enjoy working in dentistry as it provides me with opportunities at times to help someone out. I have three brothers and two sisters, and I also have an identical twin sister. She and I still have a great deal of fun by playing tricks on our friends. Just ask Dr. Guido. My husband Allen and I enjoy spending our free time camping and hiking in areas such as Parke County. We also enjoy looking for fossils in Sugar Creek. Other interests and hobbies I have include working on counted cross-stitch projects, of which I usually have two or three going at the same time. I have a stepson Alex who lives in Texas. We enjoy having him here during summer months and also over Christmas.
Hello, my name is Lynn Day and I am a Licensed Dental Hygienist working with Dr. Vince Guido and his fun, friendly team. I graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1976 and have enjoyed working in general and periodontal (gum and bone disease) dental offices over the past 28 years. Because of my husband's career as an Engineer/Manger with Alcoa and now Wabash National, I have had the opportunity to practice dental hygiene ALL over the country! I am licensed in six states including Georgia, North Carolina, Iowa, New York, Kansas, and now Indiana. I also taught Radiology at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina, and have spent countless hours volunteering (at my children's schools and at Well-Child Clinics) to educate students and their parents on the importance of good oral hygiene and routine care. My family and I moved to Lafayette, Indiana in 1997 and immediately became active in many, many school and community programs. My husband, Mike, and I have two wonderful children Our son Christopher is a Pharmacist with Albertsons and lives in West Palm Beach, Florida with his beautiful wife Carly. Our daughter, also named Carly (and who is also very beautiful) is an Agricultural and Biological Engineer with Hawkins Engineering in Lafayette, Indiana. She and her husband, Gentry live on the Sheets family farm. We have a 7 year old black lab, Cally, who is my constant companion and walking buddy. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Guido and his fantastically skillful dental team. I really enjoy educating patients about the many benefits of good oral hygiene. Come visit me at Dr. Guido's. I look forward to helping you attain and maintain your oral health, and therefore your overall health. Remember ---Never underestimate the power of a beautiful SMILE!
Hello! My name is Amanda Ray. As part of this wonderful office, I have many responsibilities. I am cross-trained in many different areas to make things run most efficiently. Most of my time is spent in the front office where I help answer phones, manage accounts, and deal with insurance issues. I am the person you will see for your comprehensive exam as a new patient in our office. I have also been trained to help in clinical situations when needed. I was born and raised in the Lafayette area. After graduating from Harrison High School in 2000 I found my passion for dentistry and started working with Dr. Guido & our wonderful team in April of 2002. Besides dentistry I have a lot of other passions & hobbies. These include camping, hiking, fishing, boating, running, and spending time with family and friends. I hope to see you soon and be able to include you as a part or our wonderful dental family.
Hi, my name is Robin Gritten and I'm the new one to the bunch. I grew up in Russiaville, IN and graduated from Western High in 1990. In 1994 I married my high school sweetheart and moved to Monticello, IN. My husband and I still live there with our three children, our son Ridge, and our two daughters, Bayli and Brielle. I worked part-time until our children got into school and then I decided to go to college for Dental Assisting. I had been a patient of Dr. Guido's and while I was in school I volunteered my time in his office. I graduated from Lafayette Ivy Tech and immediately started working for Dr. Guido. Shortly after becoming a part of the Guido team I attented Expanded Functions courses at IU Dental School where I received my certificate as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2007. I absolutely love working here with his team and plan on being here for many years to come.
